Botanical Garden

Fundera Park
Fundera park is an iconic place in Yelagiri that is a paradise for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. This is an aviary and a petting farm where you can find more than 300 species of foreign exotic birds. From Macau parrot to ostrich, or the smallest dove in the world you can find birds that are sheltered not in cages but out in the open reserve. Visitors are permitted to feed the birds and hold them as well.

Trekking - Swamimalai Hill
Swamimalai Hill is one of the must-do treks in Yelagiri offering a beautiful view of the complete valley from the summit. Situated at an altitude of 4,338 ft, it is the highest point in Yelagiri. On the summit, you find a Shiva temple. There is a huge rock next to the temple. It is believed that there was a Trishul on the top of this rock earlier, but it was stolen later making the rock just a viewpoint. Swamimalai Hill starts from Mangalam village in Yelagiri. There is a Mariamman temple at the centre of the village which serves as a major landmark for the starting point of the trek.
